Dear Parents and carers,
Thank you to all the parents and carers who attended the Parents Evening Meeting on Wednesday and Thursday. It was great to see you all and have a little catch up. Thank you very much for filling out the questionnaire and sharing your lovely comments with me. Below are some of the quotes:
” He has matured and progressed so much, I am so proud, the school has done a great job in getting him settled.”
” The work in the books is amazing, he is writing so much now. ”
” I can really see how great this school is, things have definitely improved, my little one in Reception wants to be Head Boy!”
I would like to thank the teachers who do an amazing job everyday and keep standards high to ensure every child in this school excels everyday. Such positive comments are the outcome of your great work.
The Croydon Youth Engagement Team visited the Year 6 children to inform them about the Good Citizenship Award. This awarded is a very special award that can be won if pupils are able to demonstrate how they are a good citizen in school and in the wider community. If you would like your child to be considered to receive this award then help them plan a Good Citizen Project they can do in school such as a litter picking club, reading with younger children, lunchtime club etc.
The children were encouraged to come out of uniform and wear red in exchange for making a donation for Comic Relief, Red Nose Day. They also made baked items to sell to raise more money. I will confirm the amount raised next week. Thank you to the children, staff and PTA for helping organising the day. Also a huge thank you to parents for making donations.
