Dear Parents and carers,
It has been a great week at Davidson Primary Academy, the children were involved in a whole school filming project. The purpose of the filming is to create a promotional video for the school which will be available to view on various social media platforms. I will update you when the video is available.
The PTA opened up a pop up Mothers Day gift shop where the children were able to buy a range of items for their loved ones. The children put much thought into purchasing the gifts, thinking carefully about which item will be best suited. Enjoy Mothers Day this Sunday.
The Drama Club run by Miss Mulhern came to an end this week, the children were given the opportunity to perform to parents and carers. The club has really helped the children develop their confidence, public speaking and acting skills. The children put on a great performance and very much enjoyed it. The performance was very entertaining and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Well done to the Miss Mulhern and the children.
On Tuesday 2nd April we will be having a Fun Day to mark World Autism Day. The children are permitted to come out of school uniform and contribute in making a donation. The staff are running different activities which the children have been asked to sign up for. The PTA are also holding a sponsored bounce. All funds raised will go towards replenishing our Sensory Room with new resources. We are an inclusive school and are committed to ensuring all our children with autism are given a high quality provision – the Sensory Room will support this so please donate as generously as you can.
Enjoy Mothers Day weekend.
