Newsletter w/c 8th July 2019

Dear Parents and Carers,

Thank you to all the parents and carers who showed their support on our International Day. The children’s clothing was amazing and the art work the children produced was to a very high standard.  The sheer amount of effort that went in to making all the traditional dishes which parents and carers provided was amazing.  Thank you very much.  Everyone had an amazing time and it was lovely to celebrate our diversity together.

The Year 6 Children performed their Musical Celebration.  This involved singing well known sound tracks from a wide range of animations, films and theatre productions.  The children sang beautifully, the acting was fantastic and the dancing was amazing.  This show highlighted the fact that the children not only do well academically, they have amazing artistic talents to be proud of too. Well done Year 6 and Miss Freyone.

Year 3 and 4 went to the Science Museum for their end of year school trip, they had quite the adventure and very much enjoyed the experience.  The children had the opportunity to observe exhibitions and watch a movie.  Thank you to all the parent volunteers who helped supervise on this trip.

The PTA are in desperate need for more volunteers to help them organise events. Please remember all funds they raise go into supporting the children. Please contact the PTA if you are interested.

Next week, please note you will receive your child’s school report, test results (Year 1, 2 and 6) and attendance report. Reports and attendance certificates will be sent via email.

There will be a Breakfast Party on Thursday and school will be closed at 1:30 pm.

Yours sincerely,

Farzana Begum

Acting Principal
