Latest update: School closure to ALL pupils
Dear Parents and Carers
I hope you are well and adapting to the new rules we must all follow.
I wanted to let you know my teachers are working extremely hard in providing pupils with work on a daily basis. The work provided includes spellings, times table, grammar, maths, writing, reading, computing and so much more.
Every single child at Davidson Primary Academy has been given and set up on an email account to access the homework. It is parental responsibility to ensure you help the children access this.
Although it helps to have a laptop, PC or tablet to access the work, it is not necessary to own one to complete the homework, nor do you need to print the homework.
Your child can access the homework via a smart phone, they can view it on the smart phone and complete the work in the exercise books. Most parents and carers own a smart device so I would suggest you allow your child you complete their work in short sessions rather than not doing it at all.
My admin team have sent correspondence on how to access the homework, they will be sending this out again. If you have any technical difficulties, please contact the class teacher directly on their email accounts.
I would like to thank those parents who are encouraging the completion of homework work, my staff feel very boosted and thankful for the kind words you are sending them via email.
Key Workers Survey is now closed
Key Worker Survey closes at 12pm. Any responses after this time will not be included. Thank you.
As you will know, schools are facing closures from tomorrow afternoon. Please take the time to read the attached letter from Chancery Education Trust’s Chief Executive Officer, Matt Rampton. There is a survey linked within the letter which we would be very grateful if you could complete as soon as possible. If you are unable to use the link, please use the form below.
