Facilities Manager for the Trust
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Facilities Manager!
Chancery Education Trust wish to appoint an enthusiast and dynamic Facilities Manager to work across the Trust’s provision. We require a Facilities Manager to lead, develop and support our teams to deliver high standards of service across our partnership of settings in helping to create exceptional safe, stimulating learning environments where all pupils reach their full potential.
The Facilities Manager will be responsible for the managing and development of all the existing sites to provide high quality, safe and clean learning environments, carry out reasonable repairs in-house in accordance with the School Development Plans. The successful candidate will also be the Trust’s Health & Safety Lead Officer as well and will need to be highly motivated, flexible and have a strong team ethic. We are looking for a talented individual who wants to be part of transforming education and helping create exceptional places of learning. The successful candidate will need to:
- Be a Project Manager, hold relevant Facilities Management qualification or have considerable experience in general and ground maintenance
- Have experience of working in Schools/Academies
- Knowledge of and training in relevant health & safety requirements
- Be passionate and dynamic about creating safe and stimulating children’s learning environments;
- Be highly organized
- Have a ‘can do’ attitude
- Skilled at managing systems and people
- Be able to problem solve
- Be able to motivate staff by establishing empathetic and supporting working relationships
- Monitor and review, report writing and a clear system of record keeping
- Work flexibly, innovatively and responsively across the Trust’s existing sites
- Have the ability to form strong professional relationships at all levels;
- Be ambitious and have the energy and creativity to make a significant contribution to the whole Trust.
