Dear Parent/Carers,

This week has been a fun filled week with a lot of extremely fun activities going on. On Monday the children celebrated science morning.  Across the school the children conducted a range of investigations ranging from exploring seasonal changes, creating rainbows, making volcanoes and much more.

On Tuesday the children learnt all about the history of Bonfire Night, they also learnt about fireworks and safety. They continued their learning through art, where the children had the opportunity to create beautiful images, collages, drawings and paintings of firework displays.

On Wednesday the children had a cooking day.  They learnt all about food hygiene.  They made a range of dishes which included fruit kebabs, chocolate cakes, biscuits and pizza.

On Thursday the children dressed up as their role models, they had the opportunity to present themselves to their class, carry out research, create a fact file on their chosen role model and write a biography.

On Friday the children had a Maths Investigation Day, they did lots of fun maths through puzzles. They also focused their afternoon learning on Remembrance Day.

Miss Ali organised the first session of Forest school for all the children.  The children learned about the natural resources in the environment and how they can be useful for everyday life.

The PTA organised a Halloween Themed Disco for all the children in school. It was another fantastic event,  Thank you to the PTA.

The children have had a fantastic week and made lots of positive comments.  Thank you to all the teachers for their hard work in preparing the lessons.

Have a lovely weekend.

Yours sincerely,

Miss Begum
