Dear Parents and Carers,

I would like to give a huge congratulations to Palm class who have managed to achieve 100% attendance this week.  This is a massive achievement and I am so proud of the parents and children.   Keep it up!

We have had lots of fun the last two days, focusing on our World Book Day activities. Our whole school theme was the Minions. The children spent some time watching the movie, converting it into a story board and then writing a book based on the movie.  The children then had the opportunity to publish the book into a booklet and read out aloud.  I spent some time in Palm Class today reading the wonderful stories and look forward to visiting more classes to read more stories.  Thank you to all the staff for getting dressed up and resourcing the themed lessons. Thank you to parents and carers for  helping children with costumes.

As you know  children grow very quickly and costumes can be very costly. We would greatly appreciate it if you could  donate any unwanted costumes so we can sell those to  children next year for a more affordable price.  All donations will be put into the PTA pot to support funding resources.

In regards to the Corona Virus, the school will continue to give you updates regularly, please read our updates we have sent out via email.  The school will continue to take the required precautionary measures to keep the children, staff and community safe.

Have a lovely week end!

Yours sincerely,

Miss Begum

Principal
