Dear Parents and Carers,
This week the Year 5 children had the opportunity to visit Fairfield Halls to watch young musicians perform. The event was hosted by Whitgift school, the children who performed were exceptionally talented. Davidson were privileged to be invited and very much enjoyed the great experience.
The children in Year 2 and 4 have been doing some practical learning using food. In Year 2 the children made a delicious vegetable stew as part of learning about healthy eating and living. The children in Year 4 were carrying out taste tests and exploring language to describe different tastes.
I would like to thank all the parents and carers who contributed to the Harvest Collection and the PTA chocolate/bottle donation. We received a vast amount of contributions from all the children. Thank you for your generosity.
I have taken the decision to review the prices of the club provision and made changes based on feed back from parents and children. Please complete your forms and hand them in as soon as possible. You can email you selections to the office if you wish to do so. The clubs are also on offer to children who do not attend the school, so please let your friends and family know.
Thank you to all the staff and children for all your hard work this half term. I hope you all have a well rested break and look forward to seeing you on Tuesday 29th October 2019.
Have a lovely weekend.
